Councillor Elect: Arthur Allen

Lakes Entrance resident, Arthur Allen, campaigned for election on a platform of re-programming the East Gippsland Shire Council to adopt a ‘can do attitude’. As the fourth elected councillor to the chamber, Cr Allen hasn’t shied away from putting into action his pre-election promise. He recorded his podcast about a week following the elections.

Kirsten Van Diggele is the youngest ever councillor to be elected to the East Gippsland Shire. She polled the most primary votes and was the first name read out by the Victorian Electoral Commission to secure the first seat in the council chamber.
