Hot Springs on hold

UPDATE:

Metung Hot Springs will not officially open this weekend due to the recent wet weather.
Directors made the decision to postpone the offical opening due to the high rainfall and poor weather conditions which have caused damage across the state.

"As you would be aware, Victoria is experiencing a significant rainfall event, having a direct impact on our construction and commissioning schedule for completion,” director Adrian Bromage said.

"After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the opening of Metung Hot Springs until November 18 to ensure the safety of our employees and guests.

"Our dedicated reservations team are making direct contact with customers who had made bookings from October 29 to November 17 by telephone and email to offer priority rescheduling and further assistance.”

ORIGINAL STORY:

Members of East Gippsland Marketing attended an educational tour of the new Metung Hot Springs, which officially opens this Saturday, at their last networking evening, later dining at the Metung Country Club, which is part of the major development.
Chair of East Gippsland Marketing, Patrick Carson, said the marketing group demonstrated great interest in the project just by measuring the great turn up for the tour by members.
Local investors and driving forces behind the multi-million dollar development, Rachel and Adrian Bromage, guided the group through the current impressive stages of East Gippsland's latest showcase destination.
The 25-acre site is an impressive place for locals to visit, get to know, then show off to their visitors. With hot pools, luxury accommodation (glamping) and mind and body pampering East Gippsland now has a first class activity destination.
From the hilltop hot pools over looking the spectacular Gippsland Lakes to spa experiences or advice from wellness manager, Nicole Moran, the new development along with the refurbished Country Club will welcome patrons for the first time this weekend.
