The black-tie gala dinner was part of a series of events held around the country showcasing the exceptional performance of LJ Hooker's real estate professionals. The busy Bairnsdale agency also took home awards for Top Residential Salesperson – All Income (Kelly Quirke), Top Commercial Property Manager (Gaye Holmes) Top Community Relationship Award and Most Productive Team. Principal of LJ Hooker Bairnsdale, Steve Holmes, said he was proud of his hardworking team and their now decade-long dominance as Top Regional Office for Victoria and Tasmania. "Our focus is always to look after our customers and give our best, but winning an award like this is special because it is the acknowledgement that we are doing a great job," he said. LJ Hooker Bairnsdale has invested in new technologies that have improved productivity and efficiencies over the past year. The agency took part at the East Gippsland Field Days organising a Dino Dash Race – during which participants raced in inflatable dinosaur costumes. It was a highlight of the popular local event, held back in April, and helped the agency win the Top Community Relationship Award for the first time. "It was a big hit - the idea of the race was well received and we are hoping to do it again next year," Steven Holmes said. Kelly Quirke was also thrilled to have won the award to have Top Residential Salesperson – All Income. She joined the agency seven years ago but describes the past 12 months as her most challenging. The Bairnsdale market remains popular with retirees, upgraders and downsizers. "It is very humbling to be among the top sales agents in our network and a little unexpected," Ms Quirke said.
