The Bairnsdale Cricket Association two-day fixtures continue to throw up good competitive cricket matches, with the winners not known deep into week two. This round is not too dissimilar.
In the game of the round, St Mary’s Nagle will resume at 5/30 in pursuit of 149 for victory against Lindenow South Glenaladale at Nagle College.
Scott Dare (45) and Zac O’Keefe (29) got the Bulls off to a good start and they still looked in for a big score at 4/122, but a dramatic collapse saw them all out for disappointing 148.
Ricky Tatnell was pivotal in the collapse, finishing with 6/58, of which all his dismissals were bowled, including a hat-trick.
Johnny Lash picked up 2/24 early to continue his good early season form.
