Jack headed off to Sydney

Local showjumping rider, Jack Eastley, is off to Sydney to compete in the Australian Interschool Championships during the September school holidays.
The year seven student at Nagle College will take part in the finals to be held at the world class Sydney International Equestrian Centre.
Jack made his way into the finals by competing in four qualifying events throughout the state of Victoria, two of those events he came home with the reserve champion for the individual event.
The points from each event were tallied with the final being worth an extra 1.5 points. Jack finished champion for the secondary level and was overall reserve champion for the series, which gave him a ticket to the Australian Inter-school Championships.
Jack began riding under the instruction of local showjumper Nicole Gibbs, and has also been lucky enough to be getting regular lessons from local legend, Sue Lind.
