Sally Kendall grew up in the Tambo Valley on a beef and wool farm.

A former special education teacher and social worker, Ms Kendall is looking forward to contesting the East Gippsland Shire Council elections as a first time candidate.

An advocate for connected communities with better facilities and improved transport are central to her platform.
