East Gippsland Shire Council elected a new mayor last Thursday night with Cr Tom Crook taking over from Cr Mark Reeves. Cr Crook will be joined by Cr Jane Greacen OAM as deputy mayor, taking over from Cr Arthur Allen. Both positions were filled uncontested.
