A drug raid on a rural property in Swifts Creek resulted in police seizing a number of cannabis plants.
Police officers from Omeo, Swifts Creek and Bairnsdale carried out the surprise raid last Wednesday morning at a location not far from town following a Crime Stoppers tipoff.
Officers collected about 30 plants, valued at tens of thousands of dollars, that were being grown in hydroponic houses situated around the property.
