Dargo residents are seething over the continued random shooting of animals in the remote area.
Last month a cow was found shot dead on the side of the road about four kilometres from the township.
Owner, Shaun Dyer, said his family was devastated by the loss of the 14-month cow they called Milo.
Many locals residents are advocating for extra police resources around Dargo to conduct vehicle checks to flush out illegal poachers.
