Rhonda’s myeloma fight

A cancer diagnosis affects many in our communities throughout East Gippsland.
The way people deal with being told about the “C” word is a different journey for each individual.
Some are understandably shattered, while others remain resilient and determined to kick cancer’s butt.
With an average of 419 people diagnosed with cancer in East Gippsland each year, chances are that most people in the community have been touched by cancer in one way or another.
Rhonda Ingle has been a resident of Bairnsdale for 35 years.
In December 2000, she was told, after a plethora of tests, that she had myeloma.
