With more than 100 local families ready to start early education in 2024, Sarah Kleehammer, the hardworking area manager supporting Bairnsdale's Milestones Early Learning and Kindergarten campuses in Dawson and Day Street, is promoting 'unheard of' benefits on offer for educators and teachers signing up to join her team.
"Free scholarships to become early childhood teachers, above award wages for highly qualified and experienced teachers and educators, fully funded training to complete your Diploma and a free employee wellness program are just some of the benefits we're able to offer our team," Sarah said.
"None of these benefits were available to me when I joined the sector years ago, so it's great that our owners Affinity Education Group are walking the talk and going above and beyond for our team to offer so much, the support means a lot."
Ms Kleehammer has been part of the early education community in Lakes Entrance since 2006 and commenced supporting the Day and Dawson Street campuses when they were acquired by Affinity Education Group from the previous owners in 2022.
She said the passion she finds in the job always trumps the challenges, and is currently leading the conversion of the employee staff room to become a 'Team Wellness Zone'.
