The East Gippsland Winter Festival has wrapped up for its second year, and it’s being hailed as a huge success.
Founder and director of the East Gippsland Winter  Festival, Adam Bloem, could only describe this year’s turnout as “spectacular.”
“This year’s winter festival was certainly bigger than last year,” Adam said.
“We had around 85 events in 2021, this year we had well over 150, we were blown away, very surprised.”
Although the numbers haven’t been confirmed yet, Adam believes approximately 20,000 people attended events around East Gippsland
“There were over 5000  people attend the Lakes  Entrance footbridge event, the community really came together,” Adam said.
