Brazen motorbike theft

An audacious thief has smashed the front window of a Bairnsdale shop and made off with a motorbike on Tuesday morning.
CCTV footage recorded the thief making several attempts to smash the window of the Yamaha Doyle and Shields bike shop in  Macleod Street after 5am.
Dressed in grey tracksuit pants and a hoodie, the man cases the scene before throwing a brick at the window.
It doesn’t smash initially so he makes several other attempts. After the brick lands inside the shop the man is seen kicking at the window and then tugging at it with his hands to break away more glass.
At one stage, he seemingly cuts his hand and momentarily walks out of sight of the cameras.
He returns and enters the shop through the hole in the window and begins wheeling a blue YZ125 motorcross bike through the opening.
